1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is BAROMEDICAL CLINICS Sp. z o.o., with its registered office at Wojskowa 4, 60-792 Poznań, Poland, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register (KRS) under number 0000886171, tax ID (NIP) 7792524098, statistical no. (REGON) 388264853 — the entity operating the physiotherapy practice under the "Tecaro" brand (tecaro.pl).

2. What data we collect and how

We receive data only from you — when you use the "Book a visit" form, call us, or write an e-mail or WhatsApp message. The data includes: full name, phone number, optionally an e-mail address, preferred appointment date and the content of your message. If you voluntarily describe your complaints in the message, you also share health-related data — providing it is entirely voluntary and we treat it with special care.

3. Purposes and legal bases of processing

• Booking and handling your visit, replying to your enquiry — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and performance of the contract);
• Health data voluntarily included in your message — Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR (your explicit consent expressed by providing it), and in connection with the provision of health services — Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR;
• Possible establishment or defence of legal claims — Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest of the controller).

4. Recipients of data

Depending on the contact channel you choose, your data may be processed by our service providers:

• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) — if you send your request via WhatsApp (as per WhatsApp's privacy policy);
• your e-mail provider — if you send your request by e-mail;
• Vercel Inc. (USA) — website hosting; the server automatically processes standard technical logs (incl. IP address and browser data). Data transfers to the USA are based on standard contractual clauses / the EU-US Data Privacy Framework;
• Google LLC — the site embeds a Google map; while it loads, Google may process your IP address and set its own cookies (as per Google's privacy policy);
• Indian Type Foundry / Fontshare — web font provider; while the page loads, your IP address is transmitted to the font CDN server.
• Booksy International sp. z o.o. — if you book online via Booksy (the Booksy button/widget on this site or the Tecaro profile on Booksy), your booking data is processed by Booksy under its own terms and privacy policy; while the widget loads, Booksy may process your IP address and set cookies.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with other parties for marketing purposes.

5. Retention period

We keep contact data and correspondence for the time needed to arrange and settle your visit and for the limitation period of possible claims. Documentation related to the provision of health services is kept for the periods required by law.

6. Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, data portability, object to processing, and — where processing is based on consent — withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO, Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl).

7. Voluntary provision of data

Providing your data is voluntary but necessary to book a visit and contact the practice. Without your contact details we will not be able to confirm an appointment.

8. Cookies

tecaro.pl does not use its own cookies or any analytics or marketing tools. Cookies may only be set by embedded third-party components (Google Maps, the Booksy widget — see section 4). You can manage cookies in your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated, e.g. following changes to the website or the law. The current version is always available at tecaro.pl/en/privacy-policy.
